Nautilus Magazine x Caos MotēA collaboration between a magazine focusing on ecology and Sam Molloy. The candle brings a new approach to upcycling a candle vessel. Each milk crate candle comes with a peat moss pellet and lavender seeds to be planted after use continuing fragrance in the home. With the concept of regeneration as its muse, the vessel is made from upcycled cement, and perfumed by a fragrance of rich, loamy earth, which is rounded by notes of Iranian galbanum, French lavender maillette and two cedars.
Basic.Space x Caos MotēDigital marketplace, Basic.Space, reached out to Molloy to make custom items for a limited drop. The end result was a Dickies work shirt highlighting four types of breeze block styles boasting the fictional “Cement & Masonry Enthusiast Club” with a run of acrylic cigarette cases. See more here.
Caos Motē x Father FigureFather Figure is a NY based designer known for whimsical creative approaches with excellent execution. He reached out to Molloy with an idea that joins the soft touches of candles in an industrial environment. The result was a hefty floor candle with soy wax poured into two stacked Home Depot 5 gallon buckets. Four cherry wood candle wicks are used to mimic 2x4 wood frequently purchased at Home Depot for projects. The side shows a custom vinyl description and warning label to bring it all together.
